Sports Conduct

The goal for Taylor County High school is for our teams to play to their potential and for us to support them. We cannot allow comments by our spectators to end games and we need to work together to make this happen. We want Bulldog fans young and old to come and support our teams and their efforts, however we need to work together to make this happen.

  • There will be no fans on the stage during any games that take place in the gym.
  • There will be no fans at the fence behind players and coaches during games or activities that take place at any TCHS field or facility where we are hosting.
  • PreK- 8 students MUST be with their parent or guardian the entire game.
  • There will be no negative comments made about the players. They are student-athletes working hard to play for their hometown and make us proud.
  • There will be no negative comments made about the coaches or sponsors. They support and work with your children for little to nothing.
  • Any violations may lead to parents and students being asked to leave the game.

Below is from the FSHAA Handbook about unsportsmanlike conduct.

On March 7th, Scott Mixon, Georgia-Pacific Public Affairs Manager, presented a $26,000 check to Superintendent of Schools Alicia Beshears to be used for STEAM (science technology, engineering, arts, and math), agricultural, and trade skill education at several schools within the Taylor County district. “Every year, we have increased our donation to Taylor County Schools because every year the teachers and faculty find ways to do more to educate students and prepare them for their future,” Mixon said. “On behalf of Georgia-Pacific, I would like to express our appreciation to the leadership teams and teachers for their tireless effort towards educating children in Taylor County."
